Thursday, December 3, 2009, the ITRI along with the Information Systems Department will hosted its second IT Day for Parents and Educators.  The event will be held in the Walker Hall Seminar from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with dinner being served at 5:45 pm. 

The program is designed enlighten parents and educators of junior high and high school students about the field of information technology, the University of Arkansas and the Information Systems Degree program.  Last year the program brought in more than 100 participants from the state of Arkansas.  This event is a part of ITRI's mission to promote student interest in the study of information technology and facilitate the exchange of information between academic and business community.
